Description: | •Perform mechanical duties with minimal supervision.
•Apply troubleshooting techniques and determine proper repair procedures on all assigned work orders.
•Disassemble, inspect, determine parts needed, and reassemble to factory specifications.
•Perform operational tests on engines including road testing of the truck.
•Interpret and utilize information from Operating, Maintenance, and Service Manuals/Bulletins.
•Prepare parts requisitions, time cards, part returns, accurate and complete service reports, and other necessary reports and forms.
Additional Requirements
•Previous Cat engine experience helpful.
•Must possess a valid South Carolina driver’s license with less than three moving violations in the past three years. Must meet CDL and DOT requirements.
•Must meet CDL and DOT requirements.
•Must have a minimum 5 years experience in heavy truck repair.
