Description: |
One of the world’s largest producers of welding consumables and equipment, ESAB is opening a new state-of-the art manufacturing facility in Union County, South Carolina.
Positions are available for:
Maintenance Technicians – ESAB Midway (Union, South Carolina)
|
Duties: |
• High School Diploma or GED required. Relevant Associate’s Degree or Certification highly desirable.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years maintenance experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment required.
• Must demonstrate the ability to properly read prints, sketches, and instructions.
• Possess the ability to satisfactorily perform all types of maintenance skills including machine troubleshooting and repair, HVAC, plumbing, welding, hydraulics, carpentry, painting, pneumatics, lubrication, minor metal fabrication, buildings and grounds, and all other general maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work independently or within a team to accomplish tasks or objectives.
• Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts including weekends.
• Must have demonstrated mechanical aptitude and superior general maintenance experience.
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have basic computer literacy skills.
• Applicants must successfully pass pre-hire assessments, reference checks and a physical examination that includes drug screening.

• The starting wage for the Maintenance Technician is based on the Applicant’s work experience and technical expertise.
